GENERAL INFORMATION & USES

Culvert Renew® is a profile wall pipe manufactured from PE3408 premium grade, high density, extra high molecular weight, polyethylene resin. It is homogeneous and resistant to environmental stress cracks.

THREAD-LOC

Wyatt Resources utilizes a "screw together• coupling system called Thread-Lac®. When two pipes are threaded together, they form a soil tight connection. This lightweight, strong, easy to install system makes an ideal, cost-effective choice for the insertion renewal of culverts and sewers and for direct burial applications.

Culverts and Sanitary Sewers, Insertion Renewal of Culverts, Insertion Renewal of Storm Sewers, Storm Drains, Manholes and Catch Basins, Landfill Inspection Risers, Outfall Piping, Dewatering Pipe, Irrigation Pipe.

HDPE is able to be produced due to new advances in plastics technology. This technology enables the manufacturing of a product which is seamless, flexible, and of the highest strength to weight ratio.

HDPE has the following attributes:

• HOPE's toughness and flexibility enable it to withstand fill heights of 100 feet or more.
• HOPE weighs less than concrete pipe of comparable size and length.
• HOPE is highly resistant to corrosion.
• HOPE can be used for applications such as storm sewers, storm water management systems, culverts and small bridge applications.

Coatings

ZINC COATED (GALVANIZED)

This has been the standard for corrugated metal pipe for over 100 years and has been used by Wyatt Resources since 1913. The steel is coated on both sides with 2 oz. per sq. ft. of surface area. This coating produces a protective layer of .0017 inch on each surface.

ALUMINIZED TYPE 2

A pure aluminum coating is applied to the bare steel instead of a galvanized coating; this produces a coating thickness of .0019 inch on each surface.

ALUMINUM PIPE

BITUMINOUS COATED

A bituminous, or asphalt coating is applied to the corrugation on steel pipe to a thickness of 1/8 inch above the crest of the corrugations.

POLYMER COATED

A polymer film coating is laminated over the galvanized coating on steel pipe to a thickness of .0010 inch on the entire surface.

Certifications

Since 1998, Wyatt Resources has been continuously certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) as a qualified fabricator of conventional steel buildings, fracture critical bridges and simple bridges. All welders are certified to the American Welding Society (AWS) requirements for structural and bridge welding (AWS D1.1, and AWS D1.5). The welding and fitting operations are inspected to AISC, AWS, and customer specifications by qualified inspectors. Wyatt Resources is also certified by the City of Houston as a fabricator of structural steel and adheres to the strictest compliance of all the above referenced standards and codes.
